Changelog

What's new in opencloudport, newest first.

October 22, 2026

  • Scheduled runs. Run an app's code on a timetable: up to 5 schedules per app, picked in plain words or as cron expressions, each calling its code's scheduled() handler. See Scheduled runs.
  • Send from your own domain. An email service can send from addresses like orders@bakery.com once the domain's DNS records are in place. See Email.
  • Take a copy of a database. Download any database as a .sql file, or load one in, from the dashboard, the API, the SDK or an agent. See Databases.
  • Webhooks. Your server can hear about things as they happen: deploys, email deliveries and bounces, the balance running low, apps pausing, limits reached, sandboxes going to sleep and domains going live. Each delivery is signed and retried for about a day and a half. See Webhooks.
  • Static files in deployments. A deployment can carry HTML, CSS, images and fonts as well as code, or be a static site with no code at all, including single-page apps. See Code and deployments.
  • Rate limits and Idempotency-Key. Each API key has its own rate limit, and POST requests can be retried safely with an Idempotency-Key header. See Retrying safely.
  • More in the dashboard's viewers. Files: rename and move, folders you can make, select and delete, folder uploads, small thumbnails and Markdown previews. Databases: search by column, views, any number of tables, and binary values. Email: the list keeps itself up to date, and shows Delivered or Bounced once delivery reports are switched on.
  • New pages: Your app's address, Building a platform, Limits and this changelog.

  • See inside every service from the dashboard.
    • Databases: browse tables like a spreadsheet, search, sort, edit and add rows, see each table's columns, or run SQL.
    • Files: folders, thumbnails, previews (pictures, video, PDFs, text, CSV), drag-and-drop uploads.
    • Email: every email the app sent in the last 30 days, with its content.
  • Real apps locally. The dev server runs apps' deployed code at http://<resource name>.localhost:3000, with real sandboxes in Docker when you want them.
