Introduction
opencloudport is the cloud your AI builds on. Hosting, databases, files, email and sandboxes behind one API your agent already knows how to use.
opencloudport gives an app everything it needs to run on the internet, and lets an AI agent set it all up for you. You can work three ways, and they all do the same things:
- Ask your AI agent. Connect Claude Code, Cursor or your own agent once, then ask in plain words: "put my bakery's order form online, with a database for orders". It uses opencloudport's tools to build it.
- Use the dashboard. Make apps, plug in what they need, look inside your databases and files, and watch what every key did.
- Call the API. The same actions over HTTP, or with the TypeScript SDK, from your own code.
A hosted service
opencloudport runs for you: sign up at https://opencloudport.com and everything here works with your account. There's nothing to install or host, and you never need an account with the providers behind it.
How it fits together
An app starts empty. You plug services into it, as many as it needs:
| Service | What it does | Your code reaches it as |
|---|---|---|
| Compute | Runs your code and answers at the app's own address. | (it is your code) |
| Database | Keeps data in SQL tables. | env.DB |
| File storage | Holds uploads, images and downloads. | env.FILES |
| Sends receipts and sign-ups from the app's own address. | env.EMAIL | |
| Sandboxes | Private Linux machines where agents install, build and preview code. | (from the API or SDK) |
Names like DB are defaults. You can add several databases or buckets and name each one (env.ORDERS, env.PHOTOS).
Who runs each service
Each service runs on a named provider. Today that's:
| Service | Provider today |
|---|---|
| Compute | Cloudflare Workers for Platforms |
| Databases | Cloudflare D1 |
| File storage | Cloudflare R2 |
| Cloudflare Email Service | |
| Sandboxes | Cloudflare Containers |
Paying and keys
Every workspace has one prepaid balance. Each service is measured by what it actually does, and you can see every charge in plain words on the Billing page. Each agent or script gets its own API key, which you can limit to one app, make read-only, and give a spending limit.
Where to go next
Quickstart
Your first app live in a few minutes, from the dashboard or the API.
Connect an AI agent
One line for Claude Code, a short config for Cursor and others.
API reference
Every endpoint, with what it takes and what it returns.
Billing and limits
What's measured, how the balance works, and keeping agents in check.
These docs are for agents too
Every page is also plain Markdown: add .md to its address, or ask for text/markdown. /llms.txt lists every page, and /llms-full.txt is all of them in one file.
